Since all my show blogs are on hiatus for the holidays (though I'm not sure if IMPACT! Wrestling will be new the week after this week, but if you don't see a new blog, you'll know they're continuing with their "Best Matches of 2018" Show), it means it's time to find something to fill in here (don't want you guys LEAVING me now, do I? Can't have you go away after I just GOT ya all here!). And I can't think of anything better than sharing the love of music...or, in MY case, the joy I had playing Mr. Radio DJ and playing music both in college and professionally. Now, back in my college days on KKSM-AM 1320 from Palomar College in San Marcos, Ca., I hosted my own show called "The X-Nation", where I played historian to the Modern Rock (Alternative for you newbies) Music. One of the many themes I had on the show was, well, THEMES. One of those themes was, of course, Christmas. It gave me a chance to dig into the archives, play some holiday faves, some novelty stuff, and some tunes from alternative rock artists. This particular show, which aired on Christmas Eve, 2000, was one of my favorites. And for my gift to YOU (hey, I'm broke---it's all I can give ya!), is this playlist that you can go out, find these songs, and spring 'em on your friends!
